Union-backed candidate Carol Kim continues to mislead voters SAN DIEGO - Chris Cate, a candidate for San Diego City Council District 6, released his voting record today of the last 13 elections he was eligible to vote for in the County of San Diego. Cate, a native San Diegan, has a perfect record, voting in all 13 elections he’s been eligible to vote in since 2006. During Sunday’s broadcast of NBC’s Politically Speaking, union-backed candidate Carol Kim accused him of only voting in “20 percent of his eligible elections during the last two years.”
