EPCOR Water: Annual Water Quality Reports

Challenge
EPCOR Water (EPCOR) is a utility provider to more than 2 million customers in Canada and the U.S. providing power, water, drainage, and natural gas services. 

EPCOR Water enlisted MNM to create its annual water quality reports for Arizona and New Mexico customers. These federally mandated reports provide water customers with technical information on the quality of their drinking water. Because EPCOR Water USA provides water from multiple sources to a variety of communities in Arizona and New Mexico, unique reports needed to be created for each community: 14 reports in total.

Solution
MNM designed water quality reports that appealed to technical and non-technical audiences alike. The 14 reports were bright and inviting and were laid out in an easy-to-follow fashion while still meeting federal water quality reporting requirements. Each report provided specific data for the corresponding community while featuring consistent design and messaging. Additional water-related messages enhanced the utility of this communication piece. Developed in both web- and print-friendly formats, the reports were easily accessible to all water customers.

Results
EPCOR was pleased with the final reports which provided an updated, fresh, comprehensive and accessible view of water quality in the company systems in Arizona and New Mexico. In addition to development and design, copyediting and review, MNM coordinated the printing and distribution of the reports in time to meet the federally mandated deadline.
