Danielle Thomsen

Danielle provides strategic counsel, project management as well as copywriting and editing services for MNM clients. She has more than 15 years of public affairs experience. Danielle has worked with a number of water-related clients, including American Water, the City of San Diego Public Utilities Department, San Diego County Water Authority, Leucadia Wastewater District and the City of North Las Vegas Utilities Department. She has also conducted outreach efforts for transportation and nonprofit organizations. During her tenure, Danielle’s projects have experienced increases in public acceptance and garnered several national communication awards.
 
Danielle earned her M.A. in Journalism and Media Studies from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She also holds a B.A. in Communication Studies and minors in Italian and Sociology from the University of San Diego. She is a graduate of the Citizens Water Academy of the San Diego County Water Authority. She was awarded the San Diego/Imperial Chapter of the American Public Works Association's 2015 Young Leader of the Year Award.
