Dike Anyiwo
Dike Anyiwo is a first-generation American, born and raised in Southern California. Dike attended the University of California Riverside where he studied Business Economics. After relocating to San Diego in 2012, Dike worked in community relations and human resources roles, before joining the marketing department of a local, family-owned company, soccerloco.
At soccerloco Dike advanced from a marketing assistant to customer service manager to editor-in-chief of the company’s news website, SoccerNation.com. As editor-in-chief, he specialized in digital content creation across a range of channels, including written content, social media and podcast/video production. In 2018, Dike launched The San Diego Chronicle, a digital media outlet. An active member of his community, Dike joined the City of San Diego Midway-Pacific Highway Community Planning Board in October 2018 and was subsequently selected by his peers as the group’s representative at the Community Planners Committee. In 2019, Dike joined the San Diego Leadership Alliance Institute, where he forged meaningful relationships with likeminded and similarly engaged young San Diegans who studied a curriculum of personal leadership development, communications, fundraising, political strategy, traditional and new media, and public speaking. Dike is also a member of the Communications, Education and Marketing Subcommittee for the YIMBY Democrats of San Diego County. Dike was instrumental in the founding of the Manchester United Supporters Club of San Diego and remains active in adult recreational leagues. |
